TOTAL SUPPLIERS = 106 HOUSEHOLDS PER HUB

  1. One Supply Chain Facilitator/Coordinator
  2. Five Lead Primary Farmers/Aggregators
  3. One Hundred Primary Producers/Aggregator Households. At least twenty for each Lead Primary Aggregator Household

At least 60% should be women and youths in leadership positions.

One Aggregator Site should mobilize at least 600 x 50kg bags of processed Agriculture products per week.

MPL will pay for the processed product in units of 600 x 50kg bags

The Supply Chain Facilitator will be provided with a Motor Bike or bicycle to ensure that she/he is able to reach out to the agriculture product growers within a radius of five (5) kilometers who should be the main suppliers of the agriculture product to the Business. Performance-based Joint Venture agreements and Memoranda of Agreements are signed between MPL and other value chain actors to ensure transparency, accountability and effective monitoring for better productive decision-making.

MPL directly buys produce from households and facilitates market linkages thereby producing a direct benefit to all participants, thus enabling them to have more money which they can use to better their livelihoods.

  • Improved productivity;
  • Increased hectarage due to mechanization;
  • Market linkages; and
  • Increased returns on production and entrepreneurship skills.
